GPS Error Reporting System

As most VFR pilots are aware, our GPS databases are not infallible. The suppliers of the information appear to have their ducks in a row for the IFR airports, navaids, intersections, routes and approaches; but the information provided for VFR use is bordering on woefully inadequate. Many of the VFR airports that do make it into our databases are working off incorrect co-ordinates, runway and COMM's data is often missing, there are no VRP's, no arrivals... the list goes on.
That's where we (DH82.com) come in. We're developing the systems to make this data widely and inexpensively available. In effect, if the regulators won't act to see that this gets done, we will.
Every report you offer us of errors/omissions in the GPS database information will be added to our database. As soon as we are able, we'll make it available to you. It's in all our best interests to make this as right as we can -with your assistance, we can make it so.

Remember:
only 3 things in aviation are ever of absolutely no use to you...
runway behind you,
altitude above you, and
air in your tanks.
Stay safe up there!
Keep it straight with rudder
